Meet Lisa

Lisa Field is a proven, effective leader working every day for Taunton and Easton.

It has been the honor of my life to follow my dear friend Carol Doherty in
representing the Third Bristol District. As I finish my first term, I humbly ask
for your vote so we can continue our work together.

I know what families are up against because I’ve been there. I’ve had family
and friends struggling with substance use and the crushing weight of the
rising cost of living. I even lost my home, but my family, friends, and faith
helped me overcome those challenges, and inspired me to help others.

This has meant standing up to powerful interests on behalf of workers and the neighborhoods where they live. It’s why I:

am working closely with manufactured home residents to confront the fast-rising costs of their property insurance
led the fight to save Morton Hospital when its corporate owner went bankrupt,
led opposition to a sludge gasification plant near a working-class neighborhood.

At a time when the voices of families, small businesses, and communities are ignored in favor of the wealthy and well-connected, I am proud to be your voice at the State House.
